Snow & fun

Paradiski 1250m – 3250m

From 1250m to 3250m, so much fun can be had in the 425km Paradiski ski area, which combines La Plagne, Les Arc and Vallandry. La Plagne offers a huge variety on and off the piste; from Montchavin, providing picturesque, tree lined runs, to the high altitude Bellecôte glacier with its deep powder and panoramic views.

La Plagne offers 137 ski runs & over 225km of pure enjoyment

The ski area is perfect if you are an absolute beginner, with excellent tuition available from the selection of local and international ski schools. With a great variety of runs from green through to black, the slopes provide fun for all levels of skiing and snowboarding.

In the Paradiski area, 70% of the runs are above 2000m which virtually guarantees fun on the slopes throughout the ski season.

You can also seek out the 18 fun zones across the ski area, including Europe’s longest fun ride. For the more serious skier you can challenge yourself on the 2 slalom courses in Plagne Centre and Belle Plagne.

The Paradiski ski area offers amazing skiing and snowboarding for all abilities. Whether you are brand new to the sport, a family wanting to play together, or an expert looking for the next adrenaline run in the powder, then La Plagne has it all covered.

Ski school

There are plenty of ski school options available in La Plagne. Whether you are a first time skier, an intermediate skier looking to improve your technique or an expert looking for a guide, La Plagne has all that you need.

Equipment hire

We have established a great relationship with the family who own and run Sport 200 Robino 3R, situated in La Plagne Centre. When staying at our chalet, we will provide you with a code so you can access a hire discount.

Resort activities

In the winter La Plagne offers a huge variety of activities outside of skiing and snowboarding. Once the ski equipment is away, the resort is absolutely ideal for other snow and ice activities.

For thrill seekers looking for the fast and furious, La Plagne offers bobsleigh, ice climbing and a zip wire across the valley. Those after adventure can head out on a dog sled ride, go snowshoe hiking or night tobogganing.

However, if spending time with your feet up is your preference, then sit back in the outdoor heated swimming pool and marvel at the stunning mountain range. After a hard days skiing you might like to treat yourself to a Spa treatment in the the name of recovery.

Going out

If you are looking for the ultimate aprés ski on the piste, then make your way to La Bergerie for drinks, music and dancing. There are plenty of other aprés ski options to enjoy in Plagne Centre before heading home to La Cabine.

Le Loup Blanc and Chalet De La Roché are two of our favourite places to eat out as a family. Le Loup Blanc is located in Plagne 1800 and is where we go to enjoy traditional Haute-Savoie regional cuisine, including tartiflette, cheese fondue, or raclette. Chalet De La Roché, a short bus journey down the mountain from La Cabine, is where we go for pizza, pasta and the beautiful open fire.

Even better still, you can end your skiing day at both restaurants, enjoy a hot chocolate, a beer, or glass of wine with delicious food and wonderful atmosphere before going back to the chalet.
