Supermarkets
There are 2 large supermarkets in Aime, which is before Macot La Plagne. The smaller is called Casino, the larger is E. Leclerc, and just beyond E. Leclerc is a self-service fuel station.
From experience, we suggest you pick up your main supplies down in the valley in the larger supermarkets, before you make the winding journey up the mountain. There are also smaller supermarkets up on the mountain in Plagne 1800 and Plagne Centre which have everything you will need.
Eating out
During the winter season there are so many wonderful places in resort to go for a hot chocolate, or a beer, or a glass of wine sourced from the region. You will be spoiled for choice when it comes to eating out. Whether you fancy a pizza or you would prefer to experience local regional delicacies, the amazing local restaurants cater for all your needs.
There is also plenty of choice during the summer season, although it is worth noting that some restaurants only operate in the high season, however, there are some stunning restaurants down in the valley. Whatever you decide, we would always recommend booking a table in advance.
Resort life
Whether you are coming to La Plagne in the winter or summer season, there is always so much to do. If the weather isn’t to your liking, then there are plenty of opportunities to have fun inside.
Salle Omnisport has a multisport court where you can play a variety of sports including badminton, basketball, volleyball, handball, football, short tennis and there is also a gym. La Plagne has 4 cinemas across the resort, and if you fancy tenpin bowling, then you can go to Le Bowling Bar in Belle Plagne.
